The frozen yogurt here is amazing! Thick and creamy. I came here last weekend on a hot day. My husband and I were shopping at the mall next door and decided to check this place out and we were glad we did. This place is not a self serve yogurt spot. We got the large which cost around $4 and came with up to three toppings. The large is plenty to share. We picked the chocolate frozen yogurt. But there are plenty other flavors to choose. The toppings we picked were Heath chocolate bits, chocolate covered marshmallows, and Kit Kat. The frozen yogurt alone was delicious. Thick and creamy like I mentioned earlier. The place is clean and organized. Make sure to bring cash since they only accept cash. This is definitely my new favorite frozen yogurt spot.

Nostalgic memories blossom into mind once I walk into here, and it would be so unfortunate to see it ever close down. I seem to favor this establishment because of that reason.. The yogurt isn't particularly favorable over other businesses such as Yogurt Land or Pinkberry, but it is consistent and not as heavy. It doesn't seem to have as much of a "fake" sweetness. I recently got Vanilla yogurt with Butter Finger pieces and Oreo, and I enjoyed it down to the last lickings of the cup. There was a line filling up the store when I got there, and service was still really fast! The mall is right next door so it's enjoyable to take a stroll while eating. I like how it doesn't make me feel like I OVER indulged after I finish a cup here !
(4)Connie S.
This is not a self serve type of yogurt place. You basically choose your flavor and toppings and they make it for you. We got 3 regular and it came out to about 11 bucjs. Amongst the flavors, I preferred strawberry the most. Downside - cash only.

Can't believe I've been living in Palos Verdes for 10 years and haven't tried this place. Plenty of parking and right across from the promenade. It has a family atmosphere. I had the small yogurt which comes with 3 toppings for 3.80$ total. 2.80$ for the yogurt and 1$ for 3 toppings. It was filling, so when they say small it's more like a medium in my opinion. I got vanilla with crushed Oreo, cookie dough and fudge brownie pieces. The yogurt was super thick and I usually prefer ice cream instead of yogurt, but I couldn't tell the difference with this yogurt. It tasted just as thick and creamy as vanilla ice cream does. I'll definitely be coming back more often now as I pass by it almost daily.
(5)Cleo N.
I don't think I'm a fan of frozen yogurt. The consistency was thick and creamy like ice cream but the taste wasn't completely there. Starting to realize I only prefer ice cream. Also I think I chose the wrong toppings. My rainbow sprinkles were stale as were the Oreos. I should've gotten different toppings. Also when I asked the man behind the counter is each topping a dollar he said yes but my total didn't reflect that. I don't think he understood or spoke English well cause he kept smiling the entire time but didn't say anything. Anyways, I think it's a dollar per 3 toppings not sure. I didn't end up finishing the dessert but luckily my little brother loved it so it didn't go to waste.

Yummy Yogurt is the only yogurt business that has lasted out and have state in business. It's always busy with students getting out of school, families, and elderly couples. While I love to know that this store brings in lots of customers, there is always a line, and is slow, especially since they are always short-staffed. The complex just recently undergone a renovation, making the exterior look amazing! The interior and exterior are completely different styles, and clash with each other. Overall, I love that getting dessert is just a few steps away!
(3)Tomomi K.
I've looking for a store that serves good soft serve yogurt. I decided to try this place. I ordered triple chocolate on the cone. It was a good size and right amount of sweetness. My favorite soft serve yogurt place so far. I wish they have a matcha flavor.
(5)Shruti N.
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Yummy Yogurt yet! This is a great frozen yogurt place and a local gem. We often come here before movies, and really it's the best frozen yogurt place in the PV area. The flavors change daily but they are usually pretty standard...once in awhile you'll see something interesting though. Unlike Yogurtland, you don't actually serve yourself, but rather can choose between a couple different sizes of yogurt and have them fill it for you. I usually mix a couple flavors (usually strawberry mixed with something new) and add a topping or two. The cookie dough is so fresh and good. It's always affordable, and creamy deliciousness! A small which is enough for one person is only $2 and $.90 for up to three toppings. Only negative is that it's cash only, but I guess I can't complain because I love supporting local businesses!
(5)Alex B.
Damn my nigguh! This shit was pretty good, but not as good as those lil Mexican nigguhs a who roll around the streets with their ice cream carts n shit. My boy Daryll who's in the penn told me about this before he shot up an orphanage and man was he right about this triple chocolate shit. YAH YEET!
(3)Kiara K.
peanut butter, vanilla, and milky way. My stomach doesn't hurt after and it's still so cheap for that much ice cream. They pack it down when you take it to go. It's a GREAT DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Anna K.
My family is addicted to Yummy Yogurt! We love trying all the new flavors and getting a family size to bring home. It's the best!
(5)Jay M.
The yogurt is good and price is great. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings, remember to bring cash!
(5)Kelly D.
Pleasantly surprised. I'm a bit of a frozen yogurt snob. Pinkberry is my favorite but Yummy had good flavors and a nice choice of toppings. It's the only decent place that I know to get frozen yogurt on the hill. The only negative is that you can only pay by cash. Who carries cash anymore?
(4)Sarah K.
This is my favorite yogurt place, ever! Love the creaminess of their yogurt, and the friendless of the staff. Way better than Penguins!
(5)Joyce T.
YUMMMM. Before there was Yogurtland or Golden Spoon or any of those chain yogurt places, there was Yummy Yogurt! It's delicious, 'healthy', and perfect for a hot summer day. The flavors change every day but they are delicious, and you really can't beat the price. They ARE OPEN during construction, so please please go grab some :)
(4)Matthew S.
Easily best froyo place on the hill. Great pricing and friendly service. Solid topping choices and flavors change I think weekly. Parking is fine too.
(5)Mitch L.
This is a family business....you can sample any flavor they have of the day. The brother and sister are super friendly. The yogurt is so creamy and delicious! Cash-only. Who can complain when its comes to Yummy Yogurt!
(5)Sarah M.
I can't believe I haven't written a review on Yummy yogurt! By far Yummy has the best yogurt around!! When i have a craving for ice cream but don't want the extra love handles i think of Yummy!! It's a family owned friendly all around Yummy experience! I especially love during thanksgiving time when they have pumpkin pie *drool* they actually make pumpkin pie out of yogurt its a must try! and a great gift for get togethers! It was a hit every year for my family for 5 years now!!! Its CASH ONLY! which might be a dragg for some... but there is an atm machine directly inside the store! SO yay! This is a MUST TRY!!! and should be on everyone's bucket list! haha
(5)Terin C.
There's a picture of Keanu Reeves hanging on the wall of this establishment./End Review. In all seriousness, though, I love this place. It's cheaper than Golden Spoon and way more generous than Pink Berry. That isn't to say I don't like those places, because I do; I'm a big fan of frozen yogurt. Given the choice, however, I'd always choose Yummy Yogurt. I don't even mind that they have a neon "expresso" sign in the corner. Putting aside the fact that espresso isn't spelled with an x, I'm relatively certain they don't sell it here. I also remember hearing something about the yogurt here being low in calories, but I can't say that for a fact... It was still nice to tell myself when I'd stop in here for a kid sized cup of delicious after having just gone to the gym. Don't judge me, please; I don't judge you. The staff here is super friendly, the prices are good, and the yogurt itself is, well... yummy. Sorry, I couldn't resist. You said you wouldn't judge me.
(5)Nikki S.
Family owned. Flavors change. Cute owners. Cash only.
(4)Jayme D.
It's a bit run-down and unlike the trendy self-serve this place has old-fashioned counter service. Also, the prices are good and the double chocolate non-fat frozen yogurt is heavenly.
(4)Annie G.
Pretty straightforward: GET THE FROZEN MILKY WAY. And bring some cash. :) Enjoy!
(5)Ray C.
I love Yummy Yogurt! This place is great to visit after the library or hanging out at the mall. Some really appealing traits about this business is that its family owned and they support the local schools and their booster programs. I always have had a good experience and I recommend anyone to stop in for a treat.
(5)Ta L.
Best place cheap price quality creamy yogurt come here at least 50 plus times already since we move here 10 years ago
(5)Chelsea L.
My mouth is watering just thinking about the delicious creaminess of a family-sized Yummy Yogurt with vanilla/chocolate swirl, strawberry, and coffee. mmm, mmm, good. Yummy Yogurt constantly changes it's flavors each day, though it always has the standard vanilla and chocolate. They give you cute little sample cups to test out the flavors, and you can order up to four different flavors together! (YAY VARIETY!) It's also very kid-friendly, as they have mini, small, regular, large, and family-sized. My favorites are: -chocolate pudding -pistachio -strawberry -coffee -tart (this one is an acquired taste. Don't expect the flavor of Pinkberry's original tart; it's a very different "tart" with a unique texture) They also have a ton of toppings- baby gummy bears, sprinkles, snowcaps, chocolates, peanut butter cups, cookies, etcccc. to jazz up any fro-yo. The prices are extremely affordable (last time I was there, the large, which is pretty huggeeeeeeeeeee is $3, and the family size, which is easily the size of a tub of ice cream, is $6!) Just a note-- this isn't a self-serve type of yogurt store like yogurtland, etc. Yummy yogurt is more of the thick, creamy, traditional-type of nonfat frozen yogurt. When I return to PV, Yummy Yogurt will be the first thing that enters my mouth. :)
(5)Andy K.
Yup. This is the place. This is it. Screw Yogurtland, Pinkberry, Red Mango, all those other places..this is the place. Family owned since as long as I can remember, I've been going to this place for the last decade. I have now passed the torch to my little brother, who is also in love with this place. There is a reason why this place outlasted Pinkberry and Cold Stone, that's all I'm sayin'.
(5)Ali L.
The best frozen yogurt I've ever had. I've been coming to this shop for 14 years and it hasn't changed a bit. They have a variety of flavors including pumpkin pie, blueberry cheesecake, butter pecan, etc. I always look forward to their wonderful service too.
(5)Emily D.
My school vacation diet: 15% alcohol, 5% red onion, and 80% yummy yogurt. There will never be any better frozen yogurt, anywhere, ever. It's so creamy, so cheap, and so yummy. Strawberry, peanut butter, and chocolate with rainbow sprinkles is heaven in a cup.
(5)Nic N.
This place is actually tasty. It looks yucky, and there is no public restroom. Its also a little dirty. BUT, its tasty and cheap. And the lady is super nice.
(4)Justin R.
Finally tried Yummy yogurt like most of my other reviews this visit was way overdue. Very nice people behind the counter. They also have a very simple menu, which can be a good thing because having too many options can be bad. Do to the very simple menu, they also had simple toppings. I opted for the Vanilla yogurt with graham cracker crust. It did not disappoint.
(5)Kelly E.
Oh Yummy Yogurt, what fond memories I have of you. Chilling with high school friends walking around saying "Iunno... What do YOUU wanna do?... I unno... What do you wanna do??" and usually winding up at Yummy Yogurt anyways. Came back the other day and found that I'm not that fond of the flavor they have anymore. It's not quite as creamy as I remember plus my tastebud jedi senses kind of taste a bit of an after taste. Plus is that the portions are still fairly generous. It's true Keanu Reeves stalkers, he frequents here though don't expect any super special awsome bonding time - he usually just sits in the cornr and sulks with his frozen yogurt. Frozen like his heart. Hah! See what I did there? Yummy Yogurt, it's been real and if I'm in the neighborhood sometime I might just be stopping by for a bite. Just a side note: not yogurtland style. This is good old fashion Frozen Yogurt. Enjoy it.
(3)Danielle C.
DE-LISH! I'm a big fan of froyo and Yummy Yogurt does it right! Just look at the picture I posted, you can't go wrong with vanilla and rainbow sprinkles. It's a delicious taste of heaven. I miss it while I'm away at school and more than satisfied everytime I go!
(5)Julia D.
Hands down best frozen yogurt around. Super low calorie which doesn't hurt when eating dessert :)
(5)Diann S.
Ive lived off of this for years so when all those bitter tasting yogurt places came into to town i did not stray and was not fooled. This basically tastes like ice cream but but is yogurt and not made from powder *yuck* the flavors change constantly but they always have something i like (berry) with gummibears. The prices are amazing CASH ONLY. the quality is consistent and sometimes they hook it up :] LOVE IT!
(5)Parker P.
I have taken my kids to Yummy Yogurt many times over the past few years. The many positive reviews of Yummy Yogurt are well deserved. The frozen yogurt tastes great and is a nice cool treat on a warm day. The staff are always friendly, and they give samples so my kids can try a flavor before they pick one. I usually get a cup with two flavors of frozen yogurt. I have seen many people get a large cup or two to go, but I prefer to eat it there with my kids.
(5)Julia S.
The name says it all. It's yummy yogurt :) I haven't been able to stop by here lately, but this was THE place to stop by before I hit the library. My friends and I would always go for a "Yummy Run" whenever we could. It was the perfect refreshing break to a day of studying (not really) at the library. If you're a PV native, and you haven't tried it, I recommend it. This place has been here for so long, there HAS to be a good reason for it.
(5)Kandi H.
I think this is the longest running froyo place on the hill. It's outlasted Penguins and now Pinkberry!! There is a reason for their longevity... great prices, friendly service, and yummy yogurt! Call or check in every few days as they change their flavors quite often and offer season flavors like eggnog, pumpkin, and peppermint. **cash only**
(5)David K.
One of my favorite yogurt shops of all time! I like their coffee yogurt. Not a huge fan of the peanut butter though (I go to Penguins for this). The price is right and the service is great too.
(5)Scott G.
This used to be the only really good frozen yogurt shop around and it still remains to be one of the best. With the fact that iberries and pinkberry opened up nearby and yummy yogurt is still standing really shows how good it is.
(4)Christine C.
I've never been a frozen yogurt kind of person. I always stick to plain ol' ice cream, but my partner introduced me to this place and I love it! The flavors I've tried have been very delicious and their yogurt actually tastes healthier as well. Their staff is always very friendly to us and our little boys. And I love how accommodating they were when I've wanted to sample several of their different flavors before deciding on which ones I wanted to get. Thank you Yummy Yogurt!!!
(5)Reanna B.
It's quite a shame that I've lived in PV since elementary school, but hadn't tried this place until this past year. Well, I must say that all the positive reviews are well deserved. They don't over complicate anything here. What this family run and owned store doesn't deliver in décor, it makes up for in quality, delicious, frozen, sweet, tart yogurt.
(5)Karrie H.
I've grown up with this place, and even with the advent of Pinkberrys, Yogurtlands, and whatnot, I still find myself coming back to Yummy Yogurt - and their yogurt really tastes the best. YES - it is more like the original frozen yogurt style, but the flavors here are better than anywhere else. It's flavorful and just at the right creaminess - I've never had watery or icy yogurt from here. I'm not really into vanilla much anymore, but their "French Vanilla" is really unique and I get it every single time. The price is also soooooooooooooo reasonable. Way cheaper than modern froyo. They've recently been cycling "tart" yogurts through their flavor options to cater to the modern froyo crowd. Tonight is the first time I've seen pineapple tart on the menu, and it was AWESOME! They've added mochi as well. It's a family-run business by the sweetest people you will ever meet. And to address the review that said the yogurt tastes like McDonald's - super wrong. I'm known to induldge in McD's yogurt from time to time (bad childhood habit), but this tastes nothing like it!
(5)Anni H.
Yummy, Yummy Yogurt! I love this place and always have to stop for a treat when heading to a movie on the hill. The yogurt is well priced and tastes much better than chain yogurt stores nearby.
(5)Shannon D.
I've been going to Yummy since the dawn of froyo and I can say with confidence that it is the most delicious and the best consistency. They may be fudging on the calorie count (20/oz) because it seems almost impossible, but nonetheless, very generous portions and new flavors all the time.
(4)Matthew J.
Good frozen yogurt shop on the hill that reminds me of classic Penguins.
(4)Janet L.
this small family-owned yogurt gem will always be a favorite of mine! reasons why yummy yogurt is better than pinkberry: - not watery, run-down yogurt that melts before you even touch it with your spoon, but thick, creamy yogurt that tastes like ice cream! - more variety of flavor choices that changes weekly (the most popular flavors are always on the menu) - can't decide between all the flavor options? you can mix! get half of one flavor & another half of another flavor you want to try at no extra cost. - this place won't drain your wallet like pinkberry, they actually give you more for your buck, adding generous amount of toppings for you - yummier topping choices! cookie dough? chocolate chips? gummy bears? oreos? snickers? they've got it all! even the name itself sounds yummier than pinkberry!
(4)Gil K.
After tennis, this is one great treat. I save my 5-stars for special places, so this is still a legitimate establishment. For sub $5, you can bring a smile to anyone's face. I consider that a very cheap deal! The flavor is incredible, service is friendly and interior is clean, nothing more to ask of a yogurt shop. It isn't "trying too hard" either.
(4)E C.
This is one of those places that becomes a cult favorite of the local residents.. And for good reason, too! Their yogurt is consistently good, and they're super nice about giving samples of the flavors. The business is family owned, so you'll always see the same people working there, which is nice. Anyone who's been getting yogurt here has been for their whole life and this is one of the only businesses on the PV Peninsula that has withstood the test of time. Must try, for sure.
(5)Nicole P.
BEST YOGURT AROUND. No exaggeration this stuff is addicting. Family run and owned, don't miss this stuff. It's pretty cheap too.
(5)Vicki C.
Awesome! Great prices, great service and most important the yogurt is very yummy.
(5)Lisa M.
Poor Yummy, you must be getting less business since that stupid Pinkberry opened... but you're still the #1 frozen yogurt spot in my heart. They have lots of different flavors that change all the time, and if you think something sounds questionable, sample it! I haven't had one flavor I haven't liked yet. Lots of toppings too, lots of yummy UNHEALTHY ones, like sprinkles and gummy bears and m&ms.. take that, Pinkberry!!!
(5)Lily W.
Yummy! Best yogurt place in town
(5)Sheida D.
the best yogurt place hands down. love it here
(5)Lori K.
Hiding in the shadow of the the Avenue of the Peninsula Mall and tucked between the Palos Verdes Library and Sak's lies the greatest treasure of the South Bay!!! What's better than Yummy Yogurt you ask???? NOTHING I say... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! I sometimes wonder what would happen to me if this place went out of business. A few years ago a business next door burned down and I was sooooooo worried about Yummy Yogurt I detoured and drove by on my way to work to ensure she was ok! They have the greatest selection of lip-smacking heavenly flavors. (All of them low-fat or sugar free!) The most amazing thing at Yummy Yogurt is their cookie dough topping... YA! COOKIE DOUGH TOPPING! I'm also a fan of their mini gummy bear topping because the cold frozen yogurt causes them to get cold/hard) and the chip mix topping which consists of mini white, milk and dark chocolate chips. The menu features smoothies and an array of other goodies as well, but I've never felt the need to venture past the frozen yogurt! Yummy Yogurt accepts cash only so go prepared. I've tried Penguins, Tri-Wave and most other frozen yogurt places in the South Bay, but Yummy Yogurt is and will always be #1!!!!
(5)Cris I.
First and Foremost i have to say that Yummy Yogurt has been around longer than Crack Berry that just opened up recently close by. For any one who might think that this is a recent imitation. I have been going here for a very long time and its got a friendly staff. They offer soft serve yogurt here in a variety of different flavors that vary from week to week. They also offer alot of different toppings as well as smoothies and other bottled and canned beverages as well. This is a more local spot as it is located in an area that not many other people would come to. The staff is friendly and the prices aren't bad. It's differently worth a try for any one willing to drive up there.
(5)Liz R.
Yummy yogurt is very yummy. Not as good as Penguin's in Redondo, but it beats Golden Spoon and murders Yogurtland and Pinkberry. I don't live near the hill anymore, but for local yogurt, this place is pretty nice. Yummy, indeed.
(4)Tyler G.
English Toffee was a newbie to my mouth. This spot is cash only, but they have an ATM.
(5)Ingrid S.
Yummy Yogurt. Yes Please. Extra Sprinkles. I grew up on this stuff. My friends and I, we would go work out really hard, and then go and eat Yummy Yogurt. Somehow, it being fat free, we had no guilt eating it after a hard work out. I also had the metabolism of a 16 year old. Gone are the days of my 16 year old metabolism. On a side note, I once got kicked out of Yummy Yogurt. That's right 86'ed. I flung some yogurt on a friend, or at least I was aiming my spoon launcher at her, it missed. Sightly missed. I hit some old lady in the head, and that is how I got kicked out. (I don't think they would remember me if I came back now. )
(4)I Q.
I've been coming to Yummy ever since I was in grade school, and I would probably wager that this local institution has been here longer than I have. Aside from its nostalgic value, they do serve very good yogurt at bargain prices. I would hesitate to compare Yummy with Pinkberry; while they both serve delicious frozen confections, their taste and target audience are nothing alike. Yummy is "classic" frozen yogurt, more or less unchanged from the 80's...still non-fat and mostly sugar-free. It's more suited to a cautious American palate. While not quite worth making a day trip up to the hill, it's a great, inexpensive treat if you're in the area. Also Keanu Reeves was standing in front of me in line once so it officially has Celebrity Cred.
(4)albert r.
this place has been around forever... its cheap... they always have multiple flavors. and always tastes good... old school yogurt compared to pb, yl, etc. when your not in the mood for the pb or yl type froyo... come here.. this place like is an old good friend... always reliable and there for you.
(4)J L.
Yummy Yogurt is the best! They've been around for forever, and their quality and prices haven't changed. It is also locally family-owned, and I love that they have all members of the fam working here (it should be noted that they are all extremely friendly, patient, and helpful as well :) Yummy Yogurt is simply great tasting, healthy yogurt, that is made fresh from real milk. You can't go wrong grabbing a quick treat from Yummy. Oh- they also have frequent buyer cards, so if you plan to visit a few times definitely pick one up.
(5)Cat L.
Nothing remotely special about this place. Hoping to indulge in some "yummy" yogurt after reading the mostly 5-star reviews of this place, I took a bit of a joy ride down PCH to uptown PV for this "5-star" yogurt that rivals Pinkberry. And for less than $3, it seemed worth a try. But unfortunately it wasn't... Truth is, it's nothing like Pinkberry AT ALL. And I don't mean in a good way. Unlike Pinkberry, Yummy Yogurt is like any old froyo you get dispensed from a soft serve machine, the same stuff you get at say...McDonald's for a buck. The appeal of Pinkberry is not that it's simply unreasonably-priced froyo (even I've stopped patronizing them for this reason) but that it's uniquely tart and characteristically Korean. True, they are both froyo pooped out of a soft serve machine, but it would be off-handed to conclude from that alone that it's immediately comparable to Crackberry. They don't even have yogurt-flavored froyo. Secondly, there isn't much variety even though they claim to circulate new flavors every week. Maybe I went in during a bad week? There were only 5 or 6 flavors, most of them typical, and since green tea was the only "unique" choice of flavors, I went with that. Not only did it taste more MINTY than GREEN TEA-Y, but it coated my entire mouth and throat with a disgusting aftertaste that I would imagine could be replicated by eating cold butter with Altoids. $1.75 for a small cup is great but hardly worth the long uphill drive.
(2)A G.
LOVE this place. I've been going here for years. The family that owns it knows how to make good yogurt, especially the locarb kind. I hear through that grapevine that they were thinking of closing doors. I hope its not true. I always get vanilla and peanut butter. So good.
(5)Brianne S.
Let me be honest, I go to Yummy Yogurt at LEAST once a week. THIS PLACE IS FABUUULOUS. I will never ever get sick of it. It's so cheap too, especially for Palos Verdes, where everything is more expensive and lame. The workers are super friendly, they are generous with the amount of yogurt they give, and they allow pets inside! The Golden Spoon and Penguin's are nothing compared to yummy yogurt. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, and about 4 of them change weekly. Snickers, green tea, khalua & cream, you name it! They also have a butt load of toppings to choose from, smoothies, yogurt shakes, and even pie. l love you Yummy Yogurt, i giv eit 6 stars!!
(5)Grace K.
I love that this place is family owned and a P.V. specific locals spot. Their yogurt is cool, smooth, and delicious. Their prices are cheap and the only drawback is they don't take credit cards. Considering how cheap their prices are it's easy to round up a couple of dollars and change. This place is clean, well lit, quick, and friendly. They rotate flavors and will give you a taste if you ask. Their yogurt is so light and refreshing. Who doesn't want a perfectly cheap summertime treat.
(5)P C.
A coworker bought yogurt for the entire office from this place. I got half boysenberry half plain and thought it was pretty tasty. It's a bit creamier that pinkberry, not as tart, with plenty of flavors to choose from. Great place to get your yogurt fix if you're in the area.
(4)Aly D.
poor yummy yogurt. i fear their days are numbered now with the new fangled pinkberry. but yummy yogurt will always hold a special place in my heart for its interesting flavors such as new york style cheesecake and succulent strawberry. they also have great toppings like snow caps, sprinkles, carob chips, butterfingers, snickers, and crumbled cookies. its a sugar lovers wet dream... without it being all wet! how could you go wrong? the only thing that i dont like about this place is that its cash only. this is always a pain in the ass for me since i never carry cash and the nearest bank of america is about 5 blocks away. don't worry yummy yogurt, i'll still come and hang out and gorge myself on your cheesecake yogurt. its because we go back... way back. youre still my homie.
(4)Meg D.
Love Yummy Yogurt! Great service, and delicious (low calorie) yogurt. You can't go wrong. Run by the sweetest family, it's an excellent place to stop for a light dessert or an on-the-go afternoon snack.
(5)Reza F.
What can I say???? I love Yummy yogurt because their yogurt is soo yummy! They have great flavors, I've never had a flavor that I didn't like. They have any topping you can imagine. Their yogurt chips are really good. The only con I can think of is that they only accept cash, but its less than $3 for a small with a topping, so its generally easy to find that money lying around in my car.
(5)Shelley S.
got a large yogurt, which I think was at least 16 oz, only cost $3. It was creamy, rich, and the best yogurt I have ever had. I also got mochis on top, which were the biggest softest ones I have ever had at a yogurt place.
(5)Jessica N.
Yummy Yogurt is the BOMB!!! Way better then dingleberry and yogurtland and they have such good prices!! SO if anyone is looking for some good yogurt go to YUMMY YOGURT!!!
(5)Matt M.
Ridiculous. The BEST all-around yogurt place in Southern California. The pricing and taste puts Golden Spoon, Pinkberry, Yogurtland, Yogurtville, Yogurt Town, and every other knock-off crappy yogurt place to shame. $5 for a pound and a half of amazing yogurt with actual flavor? INSANE. Not that I ever eat a pound and a half of yogurt. . . often. . . .
(5)Marisa F.
This place rocks! They've got a big selection with such yummy flavors as green tea and peanut butter along with the standard chocolate and vanilla. The prices are reasonable, only about two bucks for a regular size and you can mix flavors!! the toppings were so abundant that I, being the indecisive girl that I am, went without. I am SO going back!!

This place has been a hot spot on the hill for many years now and they rock! It's a mom and pop shop with their son and daughter helping out frequently. Their flavors change often and are so delicious. The place is always packed. This isn't like the fad Pinkberry. They rock my world... everytime.

Always friendly, always inviting, and always a bargain! This family friendly local business is a PV landmark...you've got to visit it if you haven't already!

This place has great flavors that rotate, really great toppings (even a GOOD sugar free fudge!) and reasonable prices. I love getting the smallest when I am trying to be good, and they won't bust your chops for ordering the child size when you're not quite "child" age. They pour on the toppings and they are overflowing. They will mix flavors for you. My only complaint is that I wish that they kept the almond flavor going all of the time! When I worked in the PV mall, I loved taking the short walk over. I do have a second complaint-the parking is terrible. Can't really fault them for that, though. Cash only here, if I remember correctly.

If you're not local, this small frozen yogurt store can easily be missed. It's really close to the PV mall and the library so whether you're shopping or studying, you can always get frozen yogurt. There's a coldstone's in the mall, but I prefer frozen yogurt and it's way cheaper here. For about $2 you can a small cup of frozen yogurt, which is pretty damn cheap compared to other over rated places I've been to. One star for the flavor selection, but minus one star for the not so generous amount of yogurt in my cup. The texture of the yogurt is excellent - not too creamy, and not too watery and not too sweet. I tried a double chocolate, peanut butter, and kahlua and cream mixture and found the perfect combination of flavors.

This place is amazing...I'm surprised nobody mentioned how HEALTHY it is despite being so tasty...I eat a 10 oz. large yogurt every day and am in great shape...this is truly a guiltless pleasure. The family that owns this establishment is beyond welcoming, and yes, it can get understaffed but it's a trade off for the personal vibe you get in there...THIS PLACE CRUSHES DINGLEBERRY/PENGUINS/ ANYTHING else!

A family owned and operated place for many years. I've been going to this place for 7 years and continuing. This was here before recent frozen yogurt craze. So much cheaper and has more variety than pickberry and other frozen yogurt place. It usually offers sweet ones but now they serve tart flavor. The owner is friendly as well. Don't forget to ask for stamp card so your 11th one is free.

My mother-in-law calls this place "Yummy Yummy." Yup, that about sums it up. I like the different flavors -- kahlua creme, hazelnut amaretto and I hear (but have not tasted) tiramisu. The French vanilla is also really tasty -- and being a chocolate person, that's a compliment from me. They have all of your traditional yogurt toppings -- candies, fruit (sort of jam/fruit syrup-type toppings with fruit pieces in it) and I like the non-fat hot fudge. They tend to be a little under-staffed during busy times (weekend nights), but I've noticed that even during busy times, customers stick in line and don't leave! If you're into the sort of '80s-style froyo place, not this new-fangled trendy stuff that's one shopping center up the hill, Yummy (Yummy) is your place.

the name says it all.

When I crave froyo (beyond the simple flavors of original and green tea), I go to Yummy Yogurt. This Peninsula Institution, which is probably older than my grandmother (and trust me, grams is very, very old), serves cheap, creamy frozen goodness in various flavor concoctions-- from kahlua to cheesecake to vanilla. Oh and did I mention the toppings? They've got gummi bears, snocaps, oreos, and of course the staples-- hot fudge and sprinkles (chocolate AND rainbow!). I'm also a big fan of their weirdly retro hole-in-the-wall vibe. Because of its small and somewhat off the beaten path location, it's mostly frequented by locals (like me), so do yourself a favor and make friends with someone in PV...and then force them to take you to Yummy Yogurt.

The frozen yogurt here is disgusting. Try Penguin's it's much better.

This place has been around since I was growing up in PV, but I only recently started going to Yummy Yogurt more frequently. Having tried Pinkberry (which btw, is crap), nothing beats good ol' real frozen yogurt. They've recently started carrying a new flavor called "Original Tart" which I believe is to compete against Pinkberry's yogurt flavor and let me tell you it is *so* much better than Pinkberry. AND, they also now have mochi balls as a topping option. Why people still to go to Pinkberry and pay their ridiculous prices is beyond me. The prices at Yummy Yogurt are very reasonable and if you ask, they even have a stamp card where I believe you get a free cup of yogurt when you fill it up with 10 stamps. The people who work there are really friendly as well. The cheapest item is a child's cup which I think is $1.25 and ranges up to around $6 or $7 for a large family size (larger than a pint) which you can get to go.

THE BEST yogurt around. I've been coming here for year, and it's always great. Cash only, though!

Yummy Yogurt is the bomb-diggity. Seriously, one of my fave spots of all time. Family owned and operated, YY has been a trademark of the Palos Verdes Peninsula since as long as I could remember. The pride of the Peninsula, if you will. Great flavors that change often, great prices, great service. What more could one ask for? And if you do go, be sure to get a card that they stamp for every froyo you buy. Because if you go once, you will come back.
